A remarkable percentage of the territory of Valdicecina is cultivated. Millenniums of agricultural contributed to shape the rural landscape that we can observe in our territory. Since ancient times, men have deforested hills and valleys to obtain arable land; woods were substituted by cultivations and the production buildings changed aspect and function during the centuries, until creating that typical landscape mosaic that characterises nowadays this valley.
